AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF PHOTOGRAPHS


The following copies of photographs (photocopies, photographic reproductions, or digital images) from the collection of the Grace Hudson Museum, City of Ukiah, California, have been received by the undersigned:

The undersigned will use the copies in the following manner (use/project description):

For inclusion in labels for an exhibition on the Native American basket collection of Joel S. Cotton, Jr., displayed in the Anthropology Department museum at California State University, Sacramento.


The copies listed above may be purchased for use in publications, films, slide presentations, exhibitions, advertising, and website use, provided that the undersigned will meet the following conditions:

1. Request and receive permission from the Grace Hudson Museum to publish, in any media, photographs in the collection of the Grace Hudson Museum.
2. Pay established use fees or reproduction costs; make checks payable to the Grace Hudson Museum. Payment in full must be received by the Museum prior to release of image.
3. Use the following credit line in any publication: “Courtesy of the Grace Hudson Museum and the Sun House, City of Ukiah, California.” Credit should also be given to the photographer, when known.
4. Agree not to make additional copies. Copies of photographs from the collection of the Grace Hudson Museum/Sun House shall not be reproduced in any manner, or sold.
5. Provide the Grace Hudson Museum, without charge, a copy of each publication in which materials are reproduced.
6. Special conditions: Please credit the Purdy photo as coming from the collection of Robert J. Lee, courtesy of the Purdy Family.
